My teenager values her privacy above all else
Every time she's in her room, the door is closed. Doesn't matter if she's doing homework or playing video games. It's always closed. She'll stay in there for hours. If she weren't such a good kid (and deserving of a punishment) I'd be sorely tempted to remove her door.
