I'm glad it worked out for him
He was also holding an offer from Utah State, but was told that if he went on the BYU visit he would lose it. He went on the BYU visit anyway. BYU was his only FBS offer when it was withdrawn. Fortunately, he found Cal who needed immediate help in their defensive backfield.
