They play just like they do in the summer - Selfish play - forced shots - poor defense - watch how many times a St Marys player would fake a shot and the BYU defender would jump out of his shorts just to have the St Marys player go around and take it to the hoop. Many times and it's been going on all season. Poor coaching. On offense when the ball goes down low it hardly ever comes back out. Nobody is cutting to the basket or setting blocks to free someone else. It's summer pick up basketball all year long. There is no coaching in the summer and there is no coaching in the winter. These are good basketball players. The bench doesn't contribute. Beo should be shooting more. The coaches bench someone when they make a bad play but the coaches should be benched or booted for not coaching. I'm sick of it. We can't look forward to next year or the year after with these coaches. We have the talent but we don't have them playing like a team. St Mary's is fun to watch. They don't force shots, they play great teamwork, and they play solid defense. That's all I ask is just to see good basketball. If we loose playing good it's ok. Loosing by playing summer basketball all year just isn't cutting it with me.
