If you watch these guys during summer play I would bet they are no less disciplined than they are playing right now. Poor defense, forced shots, bad shot selection, and selfish play is what you expect to see during pick up games. That's how they normally play without coaches. Since that is how they are often playing right now, I would point to lazy coaching. No way around it. Rose needs to step up. Not sure if getting new assistant coaches would fix the problem but something needs to be done. I am sick of watching these guys play like they are in pick-up games.
