We had a great time. My observation is the U of Portland doesn't do much to make an interesting game day experience, and going to downtown Portland (been there many, many times before) is incredibly dirty. Sure, there are nicer areas (Pearl District, etc..) - including closer to the University - but overall the downtown is gross. Lots of homeless.
