New trend where his team plays with heart, confidence, and cohesion. Very little evidence to show it can continue more than a game based on past data, but anyone who is a BYU fan hopes it will.
One great win does not negate multiple bad losses, nor does it change the narrative on Rose as a coach. But hopefully it's a sign that Rose has finally figured out a rotation that works, found a way to get through to his guys, implemented some semblence of an offensive game plan, and can get his players to play fundamental ball instead of reverting back to the undisciplined style of play all too frequent the past several years. If that happens, there will be no need for critics because he'll be doing a great job; and a much better one than he has in recent memory.
Time will tell.
