the point is that if you are a college qb recruit would you rather go to a place that showcases a qb or a place that likes to grind it out between the hashes. Top qb recruits generally want to go somewhere they can showcase their abilities and put the ball in the air. That isn't the SEC for the most part although there are some schools that do it in the SEC, texas a&m for one. But Alabama certainly isn't a place like that.
