Lots of people angry about a lack of depth this year and blame Rose for running off players for that problem. Rose will never say this to the media, and Rose could have handled the situation better, but a major reason some of those guys were asked to leave is because Rose thought Frank Jackson was coming. His defection really hurt the team this year. If he had not committed to BYU early, there are several others players that are not asked to leave, and maybe another recruit for depth on the team this year.

Many people pinning hopes on Papoola for next year. He looks like a good player, but he's not going to save the team next year. Even if he comes he will be a freshman. He's not talented enough to make a huge difference as a freshman.
