It is not that Alex is a bad coach. But, the problem with this staff right now is that it is way too homogeneous. All of our coaches seem to be white Mormons from Utah. We have almost no connections outside the state for recruiting.

IMO, we need to add a player development specialist and someone with deep recruiting connections in a foreign area. So replacing some of our existing staff with another local Utah hire with the same connections and background, accomplished very little. Nashif, LaComb, and May just don't bring much. Rice brought and extensive network in Vegas. Pope was a great Big Man coach with experience in other programs and the NBA. We need someone else like that.
