He's from Oakland, he loves it with all his heart, he's deeply involved in the community, runs charities and camps there, and during his first few years in Seattle would often fly down to Oakland (even during game week) just to feel the Oakland air for a few hours . As much as I love me some 'Shawn (he may be my favorite Seahawk of all time), and would love to see him have one more year with the Seahawks, I don't know if I could be too upset seeing him play for the city he loves.
