Wolf Gold is not the same thing as Wolf...
That said, I have no problems with Wolf in my AR15's. The issues usually arise when you are going back and forth from Steel case to Brass case without properly cleaning in between.

The two different case types expand differently and shooting brass then steel creates issues in some cases.

I've found that Tula (they used to manufacture Wolf steel case ammo) is of lesser quality though. Hard primers and other QC issues.

Wolf used to be made by Tula (in Russia) but is now made in Ukraine. It's better now.

Wolf Gold is outsourced and made in Taiwan. It's good quality brass case ammo. It's always been good.
