I think having the beach attack was their way to make it a more "modern" terrorist attack than the Lockerbie bombing so they can have Mitch's origin story starting now.

I'm worried they are going to turn him into just a generic action hero dude. Always pictured Mitch as more masculine than the trailer is portraying him. But maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Keaton seems dead-on for Stan though.
