Obviously only a few guys have that green light, not the entire team...
...and Rose wasn't always this way. He used to be much more cautious, even Jimmer didn't have a green light until into his junior year. He rode the pine behind Ben Murdock as a freshman even though Murdock was seriously limited in what he could do with the ball. Jimmer was clearly more talented as a freshman than Murdock was as a sophomore.
