I don't expect Worthington to contribute much, but not allowing him to be on scholarship next year was never an option. BYU also has Dalton Nixon and Ryan Andrus returning from missions - both of whom could easily be above Worthington and possibly even Shaw on the depth chart and neither of whom you mentioned in your post.
