Talking about your skills is appreciated during job interviews, TV interviews...

Newspaper interviews, interviews on documentaries about you, documentaries about your expertise and also dates if you are only doing 50% of the talking. If you're rambling on about yourself and your various skill sets in situations other than this, people will think you are a tool, nuts or that you have narcissistic personality disorder. (Napoleon Dynomite, Dwight Schrewt, Donald Trump)
