The higher the transfer speed capability, the less stability.
Even though my router has high frequency and low frequency bands, I usually use the low frequency band just for the added stability. When I was using the 5Ghz band, I was rebooting about every 2 weeks. When I'm on the lower band, I can go for about a year at a time without rebooting.
