likely would have stopped this. My company is the largest patch provider in the world (we just brought multiple IT software companies together to form Ivanti--including Shavlik and Lumension who were 2 of the 4 leaders in patch management)

I've been on calls about this internally today. Patching properly would have stopped the vast majority of attacks today.
