Probably is the way they felt 50 yrs ago, before the Lavell era, when we were
a remote, little-known, faith-based institution with no football tradition and bad teams. But I don't think any of them view us this way at all now.
And outside of athletics, if nothing else, at least we don't teach that dinosaurs lived 3000 years ago in our science classes.
