and there is no need to get into it more. The league at that time (Bowen's time) I guess decided it was legal so it was ok by this logic (even though the league warned him and the spurs, etc.). Now the league has decided it is worth a common foul and nothing more, so I guess that is that. It is just the cause for a common foul (not flagrant or anything else). So I guess there is nothing to complain about in either case. If one can't bring up prior Popovich hypocrisy due to it being legal, then it seems one can't complain much about a common foul either since that is all it is deemed by the league.
