one is money "earned" by being the child of a parent with money. The other is money earned by cashing in on the stardom achieved by being a representative of a college and the NCAA. They wouldn't be stars without the platform given to them by the NCAA, so the NCAA should be able to govern certain aspects of how that stardom affects all NCAA student-athletes.
