I'd only fished there once and my friend hadn't fished there. Previously, I caught a mix of small to mid-sized largemouth and smallmouth, but more of the latter. Today, we caught 10 largemouth and only one smallmouth. Probably half were over 2 lbs with the biggest being a 4.5lb largemouth.

I think we could have done much better had we got there earlier. It was the hottest day of the year at over 90 degrees and we still managed to catch some fish. We saw a ton of big largemouth. Neither of us had ever seen that many big ones in one day before.
