I mean, I don't know everything that goes on in there, but I really doubt there's all that much in there capable of breaking off of whatever it's glued/soldered to, that is unnecessary for the thing to function. Yet the thing is working just fine. There are close to a dozen remotes in this house, and almost half of them have a rattle. Weird.
