When comparing them side-by-side, LeBron's top 2 seasons were very comparable to Jordan's top 2 seasons. Jordan edges out LeBron over the next 4 best season, but LeBron has had a couple more seasons playing at the top of his game which could be explained both by entering the league at 18 as well as by Jordan taking a couple years off for baseball. Overall I would probably tend to agree with the statement that Jordan in his prime edges out LeBron in his prime (though it is close). However, LeBron's career accomplishments may exceed those of Jordan due to additional longevity.
