My folks got one. Picture quality is comparable with your typical brands, apps
are obviously Roku-style, which is to say, TONS better than any you'd get on regular "smart" TVs (maybe I've just had bad experiences, but every smart tv or smart bluray I've ever used is glitchy, freezes, resets, has terrible ff rew capability for the apps that support it).

So really, if you can get a similar sized/spec'd tv plus the cost of Roku stick for a lot less than the RokuTV, do that, unless you REALLY don't want two remotes.
