We are in Utah for two family weddings, and we made it a priority to have a BYU sports day as our kids have never been on campus before. Today we had time to take our kids (ages 7, 6, and 2) to Lavell Edwards Stadium, Miller Park, the Marriott Center, the Cougar Eat (for lunch), the BYU Bookstore, and the Indoor Practice Facility.
Luckily because of all the camps and EFY we were able to access almost everything. Cosmo was even at the stadium, and the older kids got pics with him. Miller Park is completely torn up right now as they are putting in the new field. The Marriott Center Annex is pretty darn nice, and we caught glimpses of Kyle Collinsworth, Charles Abouo, Eric Mika, and Luke Worthington practicing. The kids were ecstatic at all the BYU stuff in the Bookstore, and we bought more gear than we should have. At the Indoor Practice Facility the kids (including the 2 year old) took turns with the tackling dummies, which was entertaining. At the end of the day step 4 in the BYU Indoctrination Series was complete.
