BTW, my wife is from Missouri. A good friend of ours (through her family) brought his scouts out from Missouri a few years ago to do a survival thing in the Uintas. The boys loved it, although it was pretty hard.

Good luck and have fun. You will run into snow, but I'm hoping it's more drifts in the shaded areas by then. I can give you a bit of a report this weekend because I'll be up in the western end camping with my sons.

Depends on the lake, really, and the conditions. I've had good luck with a fly and bubble.
