I believe Cristiano was a product before getting scouted and signed by Man U. I think the overall approach and coaching are all centered on the football at those places. England produces some dang good talent too, but considering the differences in resources and population compared to other countries like Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, etc. England has definitely fallen behind.
