It depends on how much he wants to give the NBA a go. He's not as likely to make an active NBA roster unless he balls out in summer league ( assuming he will play).
He can very likely make more money in Europe if he wants to go that route immediately. He obviously speaks Italian having served his mission there so I assume that'd be a good option.
