It's easier to escape the heat in Arizona than the cold in Minnesota

Arizona actually has a lot of high elevations and mountains nearby where you can go to escape the summer heat. South of Minneapolis, it's still terribly cold (not quite Minneapolis cold but still miserable) for hundreds of miles (I live in Nebraska. And I moved here from Arizona. Trust me).
