This and with Maryland they got Baltimore, DC. IIRC they are now on basic
all way from Boston to DC. The only big plays for them are the ACC markets, TX or CA. But taking any of those would destroy the other conference.
IMHO the only play left is for the PAC to either merge with the BIG or B12. But here is the problem, with the total new payouts from the BIG's new contract etc. being over $50M. Just to add a team, that team now need to bring $65M to the table. $50M for themselves and $1M for each current BIG team. Not very many teams, even states can do that. CA yes, TX yes, NC maybe, VA not sure. GA, yes, FL yes and even then I am guessing on the number cable/satellite TV households.
