The penalty shootout is ridiculous. If you're gonna do something stupid and arbitrary to determine the winner, have a relay race. Have trainers race with cups and see who spills the least. Have guys chip the ball from midfield and see who can hit both posts and a crossbar first. Have a juggling competition. Any of these would be an equally good way to decide the winner of a hard fought two hour long game.
