Looking for a nice set of binoculars. Want small ones that I can take...
...backpacking. Cost is an issue, so not looking for the world's best at an exorbitant price. Anyone have any recommendations?

Vortex. High quality. Grest price. Killer warranty.

I second this. If you want to go a little less expensive, Nikon Monarchs.

Vortex Diamondback are pretty great, especially for the price. The 8x32 are under a pound, under $200
