Always gotta have cupcakes to break up challenging tourneys/ teams.

BYU should schedule west coast power teams regularly: Oregon, Arizona, ucla. Should play one of these per year (about)

Then midtier western teams: SDSU, ASU, UNLV. One or 2 of these per year.

Play in a tournament that has good teams. Not respectable teams, but actually good teams. Duke, Kansas, UNC, etc.

And then an occasional Big12 maybe big 10

A nonconf of Arizona, ASU, a tourney with Duke, throw in Texas tech or KState would be fine.

But yes. You NEED opportunities to win big games. Playing 3 bubble teams just isn't good enough.

Whether these teams are willing, I don't know. But it doesn't seem to be a priority.
