So far this is what I have come up with for my house

Ecobee3 Thermostat
Rachio Sprinkler controller
Eufy Robot Vacuum *soon* (using a raspberry pi and IR blaster to control it through IFTTT, this would also work for roomba)
Fire TV (update just added this feature today http://www.androidpolice.com/2017/07/12/alexa-devices-can-now-control-fire-tv/)
Fire 7 tablet (works as a visual display for echo responses)

Must of the lights in my house are in ceiling fans that have those RF remotes for dimming and fan control. I need to find a transmitter that I can control with a raspberry pi or something so I can voice control those.

I guess using an RPI and one of those IR blasters I could control anything in my house that uses IR like my TV, sound system, DVD player as long as I can capture the IR transmission.
