He had UCLA, USU, and UK and that's about it. I'm pretty sure TAMU was a PWO spot. Romney has 10 offers including 3 P12, Iowa St, and BSU. Tanner definitely wasn't what you'd call a big recruit. Not has big as half of the guys we've been after. But it's still nice to have an offensive skill position guy who at least had what he did as a recruit. Now let's see if he can put that into action on the field in college. It's going to be tougher as fewer receivers are used, and more talent comes in. At least we'll build up depth.
I always worry about getting excited for the practice rave guys. The practice stars. Except Micah Simon because he's been a standout for two "years" now and both coaches and players consistently bring his name up as someone to watch out for.
