and watch from there. Seasons 1 and 2 are terrible, and most of three is pretty shoddy. 4-7 are very good. That said, I tried to introduce my wife to my beloved TNG last year, and after one episode her response: "What's the appeal? Acting is soap opera level except for the bald guy, and the plots are lame." Sigh.
