I watched the first, haven't seen the 2nd yet - although I've read about it
so I know the basic plot.
Like I said, I know Planet of the Apes isn't intended to be an action movie experience, and I didn't expect that. But, with a title beginning with "War", I was hoping for more action than what was there. There was a sequence at the beginning and another at the end, but everything in between was very non action.
