My parents graduated BYU in about 1973. Somewhere prior to that time as a kid young enough to be carried on my father's shoulders I was taken to a special parade for BYU football where a football player was being greatly cheered. I believe it was a cold time of year I think I was wearing a coat. Anyway the player in question had an arm in a sling, and was in a car waving with his good arm. Anybody old enough remember who that was and what the situation was?
