She didn't like to drive in traffic, she had me drive. This was pre-9/11 days so I checked in and then we hung around the gate until my flight boarded. Being a small plane, it only took a few minutes to board and then we pushed back from the gate. It was then I slipped my hand into my pocket and realized I had her keys still. Nothing I could do about it at that point.

She called a roommate who picked her up with spare keys. I mailed her keys back to her.
