So after 5 months, officially reached my High School Weight (36+ lbs) of 30 years
ago.

BUT, I am a little surprised that I don't look like I did in HS (body composition wise). I kind of thought that an older guy would weigh more with a very similar build just because over time some of the soft tissue would be more dense. This absolutely isn't the case for me. Have gone from 201.6 to 165.2lbs (I am 5' 10 1/2"). I was 165 in HS, I lifted a few days a week, I surfed a couple days a week, played football, rode dirt bikes, BMX bike, mountain bikes and generally stayed very active (like most of you). Of course I could eat everything in site and NOT gain an ounce. In general, I would say that I am not as defined (abs, biceps, triceps, sarratus, lats, calves) but probably have a little more bulk (biceps, forearms, neck). Not that I am complaining, no gut or any love handles. It may just be that my workout routine is a little different now (less heavy lifting days, less swimming/surfing and less activity in general). We head to Costa Rica on Fri night, and this was my goal before the trip. Next goal will just be to stay under 170, which I think I will, as my routine is very sustainable and I actually like doing it.

Currently, I do about 2-4 days of cardio, and lift a couple days a week. I actually think I am stronger now than I was in HS (old man strength), but other than that, my life is probably more sedentary.

A question for guys that have either lost a significant amount of weight or never gained weight and still weigh about what they did in HS. How do you look compared to HS?
