True, but they are changing the goal posts their argument was BYU is an independent without a conference and because of this they are irrelevant. It isn't BYU is irrelevant because they are independent without a conference and they are named BYU so don't have the name brand power. Then when someone replies to the argument they stated they act like that wasn't the point they made.

Like a poster down on the board said everyone is irrelevant if they lose a certain amount of games, if BYU loses 1-2 and stays in the ranking then I would say they are relevant regardless of conference affiliation.

90% of schools are not relevant by the end of the season other than to their dedicated fan base, the irrelevance argument is generally stupid.
