I've found the tailgates to be rather boring. When traveling to a diff city for
the weekend, I try to enjoy the city before and after the game. That is my primary reason but others include the following:
1. Prefer to pregame with the friends I came to the game with rather than strangers.
2. Tailgates aren't inclusive of all types of BYU fans.
3. Tailgates aren't important to me.
4. Alternative options are more entertaining.
5. People like you are there.
I go to games as recreation for myself and I don't enjoy spending my free time around people that call others selfish tools while expecting me to think the same as they do just because we went to the same University or like the same football team.
