Gurney was on and, toward the end of the interview, joked Kalani calls Jay, "fisherman Jay" because he always asks controversial questions. Jay responded that he is just trying to get the coaches to "give them something that wasn't just coach speak" to make things more interesting, since they have to write 1-2 stories a day. He said all of his kids have gone to BYU. Both Brandon and Criddle joked about how he was just a "Ute spy" which Jay laughed at, stating he couldn't name more than one or two players on Utah's roster.
