Better. Pacing felt off. Seth McFarlane over acts constantly, and not in a James Kirk way, in a not a great actor way. Editing was not tight. Was a 30 minute show stretched into an hour. Only funny jokes were already in the commercials.
Effects were good. Outside of McFarlane's poor performance, the cast is decent. It felt like a first episode. The cast has not gelled yet... but there is plenty to like and decent performances.
I want to give it 2 or 3 more episodes to see if it comes together or not.
