well know that conditioning isnt an all or nothing thing, there are degrees. Its why it is common for many guys coming back from injury to play sparingly while they get their conditioning back. Its probably also why teams - for example the Arizona Cardinals with Carson Palmer in fall training - don't have guys do a lot, so they don't overwork them and either tire them out or make them more susceptible to injury.
