I used to think BYU played better in the.....

daytime than at night. There may have been some truth to that in LaVell's tenure because there were many home games with noon or 1:30 start times. Not as many night games in the 70's/80's.

The Portland State game sure shot my theory full of holes. Those fans that fainted from the heat may have come out ahead.

All the start times were awesome when I lived in Seattle! Now that I'm in TX, I swear all the games start at 9:30

Agreed for September-Early Oct, but late Nov evening games can be brutal
