Detmer needs to improve because this is a terrible offense. But, the truth is, BYU has a terrible defense also, that fact has just been masked by timely penalties and anemic offenses.

Personally, as a BYU fan, I feel I have no choice but to be patient and hope the coaches turn a corner soon, because BYU won't/can't replace coaches this early.
