Amazon kindle fire tablet quality kinda sucks, but I guess that should be
expected for how cheap they are. It wasn't always that way- we bought a pair of Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablets back in 2012 and they lasted until last year. Since then we have bought 3 different Kindle Fire tablets (two Fire HD 10 and one Fire HD 8), and they just crap out after a few months.
