If you're struggling to find many difference, there's a reason for it. We ran a west-coast, pro-style offense back in the day, and we're implementing a west-coast, pro-style offense now. There is a bit of an emphasis shift now vs then (trying to use the run to set up the pass now vs pass to set up the run then), but it's essentially the same offense. Ty has installed some modern twists, like more spread-type formations and even some read-option stuff, but the essentials are the same. Kalani (and Ty, I'm sure) want more of a ball-control type attack rather than the high-risk, high-reward attack we used to use, but it's all based on the same west-coast type scheme. Ty will continue to adjust things to match available personnel and to match current program philosophy, and over time the offense will develop its own identity. Ty, and Kalani, will get it right.
