Keeping the ball out of Arizona and Miss State's hands was absolutely in the game plan. Time of possession is important in this offense. Ty has stated that many times. If your offense is sustaining drives, keeping the ball out of your opponent's hands, and scoring efficiently in the red zone, you are WINNING. If you hold the ball the entire first quarter and come away with 7 points, of course the score at the end of the game will be low - but high scoring games isn't the goal. You might not be putting up Anae numbers, but you're winning. People act like Arizona and Miss State were for sure wins if Anae were OC b/c they look at how many points we put up versus how many points they put up. That is pure football ignorance. We very well could've ended up in a shoot out with Arizona (a team we don't want to be in a shoot out with) and lost that game with a higher score on both sides.

The offense was abysmal against Boise State. No denying that.
